Job Description
invenioLSI is looking for an SAP Senior Managing Consultant - BTP with 12-15 years of experience in developing technical solutions in S/4HANA for various WRICEF requirements. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of extensions on SAP BTP and S/4HANA Cloud, following the SAP Best Practices and development standards. You will also develop extensions in S/4HANA Cloud using Key User and Developer Extensibility - RAP Model, creating or using custom CDS Views, developing OData Services for extension solutions.
Must have:
- 12-15 years of experience in developing technical solutions in S/4HANA
- At least three full life-cycle implementation experience projects
- 3+ years of experience using SAP Business Application Studio/WebIDE
- 2+ years of strong experience developing SAPUI5 applications
- 2+ years of development of CDS Views with functions, annotations related to VDM, Fiori Elements, and data projection
- Experienced in the design, development and deployment using SAP BTP tools
- Experience developing extension of cloud applications on SAP BTP (or SAP SCP) and S/4HANA Cloud
- Deployment of Fiori applications on Central Launchpad
- Experience with using various tools to debug and troubleshoot Fiori and OData Services
- Experience working with SAP on raising incidents, research notes and identifying solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Aptitude for working in a team environment
- Ability to explain ideas and concepts to other project team members and to client personnel
- Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices
Good to have:
- 1+ years of experience with development using CAP Model, Java and Node.js
- Working experience with RESTful ABAP Model of Development
- Ability to identify upsell opportunities and assists in management of scope

SAP Skills
- Overall 12-15 years of experience in developing technical solutions in S/4HANA for various WRICEF requirements.
- At least three full life-cycle implementation experience projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live) with one exclusively in S/4HANA.
- 3+ years of experience using SAP Business Application Studio/WebIDE to develop and enhance Fiori applications, Workflows, extensions and developing applications on Cloud.
- 2+ years of strong experience developing SAPUI5 applications using various data sources, including consuming APIs, and OData services.
- 2+ years of development of CDS Views with functions, annotations related to VDM, Fiori Elements, and data projection.
- Experienced in the design, development and deployment using SAP BTP tools: SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Extension Suite.
- Experience developing extension of cloud applications on SAP BTP (or SAP SCP) and S/4HANA Cloud (or SAP Cloud solutions) using key user and side-by-side extension tools.
- Deployment of Fiori applications on Central Launchpad and other Cloud applications, configuring Fiori launchpad to link custom or extended SAPUI5 applications to Fiori tiles.
- Experience with using various tools to debug and troubleshoot Fiori and OData Services.
- Experience working with SAP on raising incidents, research notes and identifying solutions.
- 1+ years of experience with development using CAP Model, Java and Node.js to build custom Cloud Foundry applications is desirable.
- Working experience with RESTful ABAP Model of Development is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the successful implementation of extensions on SAP BTP and S/4HANA Cloud, following the SAP Best Practices and development standards.
- Develop extensions in S/4HANA Cloud using Key User and Developer Extensibility - RAP Model, creating or using custom CDS Views, developing OData Services for extension solutions.
- Develop side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP as required using the SAP BAS.
- Develop applications or extend standard applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry ABAP environment.
- Develop SAPUI5 applications, side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, optimized in performance and resource consumption.
- Develops technical specification documentation for SAP development objects.
- Reviews SAP solution design and development by other team members for quality and adherence to development standards and development strategy.
- Coordinates with the Development Lead to review specifications, and obtain approval of specifications, including from the Client.
- Assists developers and the customer by responding to questions and clarifications on technical solution design and implementation.
- Facilitate functional and business partners to validate solutions against business requirements and architecture
- Assists the customer in developing test cases, performing integration and user acceptance testing, including troubleshooting and resolving defects.
- Assists the customer during cutover, anticipate, identify and resolve post go-live issues.
- Updates all design, configuration and specification documentation for all technical solutions and conducts a documentation walkthrough with the client.
- Provides knowledge transfer to customer personnel throughout the project.
- Work with SAP Support, as needed, to raise incidents, and assist in resolving the issues and product fixes, related to SAPUI5 applications, extension components, and flexible workflows.
- Research SAP Notes and documentation to resolve issues with SAP BTP Services and tools.
