Job Description

As a Silicon Operations Production Planner at Google, you'll be part of a team developing custom silicon solutions that power the future of Google's direct-to-consumer products. Your responsibilities include creating and processing purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, tracking order status, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely receipt of materials. You'll be responsible for shaping the next generation of hardware experiences, delivering unparalleled performance, efficiency, and integration.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
Experience in Process Management, Demand Planning, and Product Quality Control
Experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Good to have:

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
Experience with SAP transaction model and business-to-business implementation
Knowledge of semiconductor components, materials, and manufacturing processes

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
Experience the Process Management, Demand Planning, and Product Quality Control.
Experience in the semiconductor or electronics industry.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience with SAP transaction model and business-to-business implementation.

Responsibilities

Create and process purchase orders based on requisitions, ensuring correct specifications, quantities, pricing, and delivery terms. Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and obtain acknowledgements.
Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track order status, address any inquiries or concerns, and resolve any delivery or quality issues that may arise.
Monitor order progress and expedite deliveries as needed to ensure timely receipt of materials and components. Follow up with suppliers on any delays or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier information, and other relevant procurement data in the company's systems.
