Summary

This role involves designing and implementing high-volume manufacturing test strategies for SoC products. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, optimizing test coverage, reducing defects per million opportunities (DPPM), and ensuring power and performance. The engineer will lead ATE test deployment and optimization for high-volume manufacturing, collaborating with cross-functional teams globally. This includes working with NPI product development and test teams, vendors, and HVM product engineering to build, deploy, and maintain a high-volume manufacturing screening solution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ATE test development for NPI or high-volume manufacturing, along with strong understanding of industry-standard tools, languages, and methodologies for silicon-based ICs and chips.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in product or test engineering
  • 5+ years experience with industry-standard tools for ICs
  • Experience in ATE test development for NPI or HVM
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in relevant field
  • Experience with Scan/ATPG, MBIST, HSIO ATE testing
  • Experience with Advantest V93K or Teradyne UltraFlex ATE platforms

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product engineering or test engineering.
  • 5 years of experience with industry-standard tools, languages, and methodologies relevant to the development of silicon-based ICs and chips.
  • Experience in ATE test development for NPI or High Volume Manufacturing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 12 years of experience in product engineering or test engineering.
  • Experience with Scan/ATPG testing, MBIST testing, HSIO ATE testing, or test hardware, including ATE board and socket debugging.
  • Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) platforms such as Advantest V93K or Teradyne UltraFlex.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for high volume manufacturing test of SoC products, including troubleshooting, test coverage optimization, DPPM reduction, and power and performance assurance.
  • Lead ATE test deployment and optimization for High Volume Manufacturing, working with the NPI product development and test team, vendors, and HVM product engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe including ATE and SLT Test Engineering, Packaging, Supplier Management and Operations to build, deploy, and maintain a high volume manufacturing screening solution.
