Job Description

The Senior Manager of Reverse Logistics will oversee and optimize the reverse supply chain processes, ensuring efficient handling of returns, refurbishments, recycling, and disposal of products. This role will focus on enhancing customer satisfaction while minimizing costs and maximizing value recovery from returned goods.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for reverse logistics that align with the company’s overall supply chain and business objectives.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline reverse logistics processes, reduce turnaround times, and improve cost-effectiveness.

Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on return trends, inventory levels, and performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance operations.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, customer service, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of reverse logistics processes.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and vendors to ensure efficient returns processing and cost management.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all reverse logistics operations comply with relevant regulations, including environmental and safety standards.

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or reverse logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Knowledge: Understanding of reverse logistics processes, inventory management, and sustainability practices.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  

Annual Salary Range $150,000—$180,000 USD
