Sr. Tech Lead - Linux

Roles and Responsibilities: -

• Provides advanced technical support and administration of the core infrastructure systems for Linux (Red Hat, OpenSuse, CentOS, Debian & Ubuntu).

• Works closely with the IT Manager, Senior Systems Engineers and Regional Service Delivery Manager to ensure exceptional customer service for all support needs. 

• Should have expertise in automation and administration of the Linux system to ensure the deployment of applications, patches and building of Kernels.

• Provide disaster recovery protection to critical data by ensuring backup program is properly configured, administered, and maintained.

• Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure high availability.

• Design and documentation

• Comprehension of ITIL methodology.

• Must be customer service oriented and have exceptional verbal communication skills. 

• Should be comfortable in working in Shifts.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or another related field.

• Minimum 6+ years as a Systems Engineer or in a related role.

• RHCE certification is required.

• Proficiency in Ansible (including Ansible Tower) is a must. Experience with automation tools are essential.

• Hands-on experience with Linux distributions such as CentOS, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, and Debian.

• Familiarity with Linux patch management using tools like BigFix or similar solutions.Hands-on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Strong experience with Terraform.

• Experience with public cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Solid understanding of Linux networking concepts and configurations.
