Job Description
As a Strategic Storage Sales Specialist, you'll build and grow Google Cloud's Storage business, focusing on Google Cloud's NetApp Volumes (GCNV). You'll collaborate with Google Cloud, NetApp, and partner teams to develop sales pipelines, achieve business goals, and foster growth through various strategies. This involves promoting GCNV's value to key verticals (Banking, Insurance, Automotive, etc.), engaging stakeholders, driving sales, and representing Google Cloud at events. You'll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure successful deployments and customer satisfaction, gathering market feedback and contributing to GCNV's ongoing development. The role requires exceeding sales targets, driving customer adoption, and adapting sales strategies to accelerate agreements.
Must have:
- 10+ years quota-carrying Storage sales experience
- 5 years selling enterprise NetApp solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to exceed sales targets and drive customer adoption
Good to have:
- Experience with GCP, GCNV, or NetApp Cloud services
- Understanding of industry trends and challenges

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in quota-carrying Storage-related cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B technology company.
- 5 years of experience selling enterprise NetApp solutions and utilizing data management concepts and technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GCNV offering or NetApp Cloud service at other cloud providers.
- Experience with NetApp storage solutions and ONTAP software sales.
- Understanding of the industry landscape, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ability to establish a network of contacts within the Industry and ecosystem.
- Ability to achieve success, cultivate and close agreements, exceed sales targets, and drive customer adoption of new technologies.
- Excellent communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and messages to different audiences.

As a Storage Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for building, growing and creating an efficient, leveraged GTM model for Google Cloud’s Storage business, beginning with Google Cloud's NetApp Volumes (GCNV) offering.In this role, you will collaborate with Google Cloud, NetApp and Partner sales and GTM teams to develop sales pipeline, deliver aimed business and foster growth through direct, attached, and cross-promotion strategies within new and existing customer accounts. You will promote the value of GCNV, enable and engage key stakeholders to accelerate GCNV business as an integral part of key verticals like Banking and Insurance, Automotive, Electronic Design Automation (EDA), Energy, Gaming, Healthcare, Software and Internet and Media and Entertainment, and for Data Management and AI applications in Google Cloud for in-Cloud and on-premises users.
You will work cross-functionally with Google Cloud's product management, engineering, and support teams to ensure successful GCNV deployments and customer satisfaction. You will gather market feedback, identify opportunities for product improvement, and contribute to the ongoing development of GCNV to meet evolving customer demands.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$209,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Drive GCNV Business, exceed business goals through direct, attached, and cross-prom initiatives with Google Cloud, NetApp, and partners.
- Create and promote solutions with Google Cloud and NetApp, addressing customer needs in key verticals like Banking/Insurance, Automotive, EDA, Energy, Gaming, Healthcare, and Software/Internet/Media.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, influencing their technology strategies as a trusted advisor.
- Drive the sales process, adapting strategies to accelerate agreements and leading virtual teams.
- Represent Google Cloud, showcase GCNV's value at customer sites, industry events, and conferences.
