The Technical Partner Alliance Manager will drive strategic technology partnerships and integrations to improve Fortra’s cybersecurity offerings. This role combines technical expertise and business development skills to execute impactful partner initiatives. The responsibilities include identifying and evaluating technology partners, assessing integration feasibility, developing blueprints and use cases, providing technical guidance, and managing partner relationships. The role also involves creating partner-facing content and supporting business development. Cross-functional collaboration with product management, R&D, marketing, and sales is crucial to ensuring seamless integration and execution, providing insights into cybersecurity trends.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in technology alliances, product management, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Experience working with APIs, SDKs, and security integrations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with technical and business acumen.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional programs and partnerships.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of SOC/Incident Response processes and industry frameworks.
  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.
  • Experience presenting at industry events and briefings.

The Technical Partner Alliance Manager will play a critical role in driving strategic technology partnerships and integrations that enhance Fortra’s cybersecurity offerings. This position combines technical expertise with strategic thinking and business development skills to execute impactful partner initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Technology & Product Integration

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize technology partners to enhance Fortra’s product portfolio.
  • Assess integration feasibility based on technical architecture and business alignment.
  • Develop blueprints, reference architectures, and use cases for joint solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to enhance Fortra’s platform capabilities for partner integrations.
  • Oversee the creation of API documentation, integration guides, and demo environments to support partner adoption.

Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and manage strategic alliances with key technology partners.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to align on roadmaps, integration progress, and joint initiatives.
  • Strengthen relationships through co-development efforts, joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and enablement programs.

Go-to-Market & Enablement

  • Work with Marketing and Sales to create compelling partner-facing content, including solution briefs, webinars, and case studies.
  • Develop and deliver proof-of-value (PoV) demonstrations for joint solutions.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying revenue opportunities through partnerships.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Act as a bridge between Product Management, R&D, Marketing, and Sales to ensure seamless partner integration and execution.
  • Translate partner requirements into actionable development tasks for internal teams.
  • Provide insights into emerging cybersecurity trends, market shifts, and competitive intelligence to inform Fortra’s partnership strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technology alliances, product management, technical marketing, or related roles within cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions, such as Offensive, XDR/MDR, DLP, WAF, Digital Risk, or Vulnerability Management (VM).
  • Experience working with APIs, SDKs, and security integrations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional programs and execute strategic partnership initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SOC/Incident Response processes and industry frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS).
  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.
  • Experience presenting at industry events, webinars, and executive briefings.
