Netflix seeks a Travel & Expense Analyst to drive process improvements, support M&A integration, and manage T&E operations. Responsibilities include collaborating with finance and operations teams, automating data integrations, serving as a point of contact for T&E inquiries, implementing process improvements, assisting with month-end close, and developing Workday workflows. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in operations or finance/accounting, experience with M&As in multinational companies, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential. The role involves handling high volumes of work, developing training materials, and performing ad-hoc reporting.

Our Travel & Expense team is looking for a Travel & Expense Analyst with an understanding of travel and expense operations, ERP systems, accounting principles, and system integrations. The Travel & Expense Analyst will work cross-functionally and focus on process improvements and implementation of new tools and workflows. They’ll focus on efficiency and ensure adherence to guidelines all while supporting the financial integration of newly acquired entities and existing Netflix entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive process improvements and contribute to projects, system design, and testing & metrics dashboards.

  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams during the M&A process to streamline T&E practices for newly acquired companies.

  • Assist in the integration of T&E systems and processes, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.

  • Support automation of travel data integrations and/or invoice reporting to Financial systems

  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to travel and expense procedures.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of T&E operations.

  • Assist with month-end close process

  • Perform other travel and expense-related duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

  • Develop workflows to automate account and project changes within Workday ERP

  • Participate in training sessions to educate employees on travel and expense practices.

  • Ad hoc reporting requests


 

Qualities We’re Looking For:

  • The successful candidate will have 5+ years of operations or finance/accounting experience

  • Experience with M&A’s at a multinational company 

  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel (Pivots, Vlookups, etc.)

  • Familiarity with reporting systems such as Workday or other ERP systems

  • Ability to multitask and handle high volumes 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to speak and present training material

  • Ability to learn new tools and acquire new skills

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive improvements and continuously simplify processes

  • Able to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with team members and business partners

  • Able to function effectively as a part of a loosely coupled but highly-aligned team

  • Flexible, with the ability to pivot and adjust to the needs of the team you support

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $190,000.
