UI Artist (World of Tanks)

Job Overview

We are looking for a UI Artist to join its top AAA project, World of Tanks!

World of Tanks is a Guinness award-winning vehicle action game with a 110-million army of loyal fans. It is a cultural phenomenon that has entertained players worldwide for around 12 years!

We believe we have a solid and involved team that continually strives to be on the edge of the gaming industry. We are extremely passionate about Art and always looking for innovative ways and approaches to bring our ideas and vision to World of Tanks gamers.

As a UI Artist, you will have a rare possibility to directly influence what our game UI will look like. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling UI assets that enhance player experience, ensuring clarity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Working closely with UX designers, game designers, and developers, you will help shape the visual language of our game.

What will you do?

• Create high quality UI art elements that clearly illustrate in-game objects. Be able to tell a story or bring the mood through visuals and forms

• Ensure a seamless and immersive user experience through effective visual communication

• Work collaboratively with game designers and developers to integrate UI elements into the game engine

• Maintain consistency with the game’s art style while improving usability and accessibility

• Stay updated with the latest trends in game UI/UX design

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience in creating realistic (non-casual) UI elements and props for video games

• Outstanding portfolio with an eye for perspective, color, lighting, atmosphere, and details

• Strong foundation in the traditional arts

• Stylization skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, or other UI design tools

• Understanding of UX principles and how they apply to game interfaces

• Strong artistic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with 3D tools, preferably with Blender

• Intermediate or higher level of English

• A passion for video games

Work mode

Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)

The salary range for this position is 2500 – 4500 € (gross) per month.
