The [Unannounced Project] Development Director at EA Korea Studio will lead internal communication for game development, enhance productivity by managing planning and processes, identify and mitigate project risks, and set service planning goals with key personnel. Responsibilities include ensuring service schedules and quality, managing resources efficiently, and overseeing designers and artists. The role requires experience managing game development projects, utilizing project management tools (Jira, Notion), and possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will work closely with Game Design Directors, Art Directors, and Producers throughout the game development lifecycle.

EA Korea Studio follows EA's global systematic and documented development process throughout the whole production process, from development planning to game design confirmation, visual direction setting and implementation to QA. At the same time, EA Korea Studio makes improvements based on the feedback from those who participate in the development process by streamlining our processes and pursuing optimization.

  • You will be reporting to the Line producer.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead internal communication for the game development

  • You will enhance productivity by managing planning, development processes, and communication methods

  • You will identify and mitigate project risks

  • You will set service planning goals with the Game Design Director, Art Director, and Producer

  • You will ensure the service schedules and quality with the Game Design Director, Art Director, and Producer

  • You will manage resources efficiently

  • You will oversee people management for designers and artists in the team

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing game or similar content development projects

  • Handling Jira, Notion or comparable project management tools

  • Strong logical thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills

  • 5 years of relevant experience in the gaming/IT industry (project management, development/design/art, QA, operations)

You are good to have..

  • Excellent report-writing skills

  • Business-level English proficiency

  • Degree related to game design, art, or UX practice

  • 8 years of experience in software development management/lead roles (Project Manager, Program Manager, Producer, or equivalent)

  • Experience of leading cross-functional teams or large-scale projects/services

  • Resources and budgets management

  • People management experience in a global IT company
