Unity Game Developer

Job Summary:

Funwave Studio is looking for a Unity Developer to build engaging mobile games for Android and iOS. If you have experience in multiplayer game development and optimizing game performance, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and optimize mobile games for Android & iOS

● Integrate assets, animations, and visual effects into the game

● Work on player controls, physics, AI, and game interactions

● Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay across various devices

● Debug and fix game-related bugs to ensure a seamless experience for players

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality game deliverables

● Stay updated with the latest Unity features and mobile game trends

Must-Have Skills:

● Strong C# & Unity experience (4+ years)

● Hands-on experience in multiplayer game development

● Knowledge of mobile game optimization & performance tuning

● Experience integrating third-party SDKs (ads, analytics, multiplayer, etc.)

Good to Have:

● Experience in 2D game development

● Familiarity with animation, physics, and UI frameworks in Unity

● Prior experience with game AI, procedural generation, or networking

We were initially hiring for two positions, but we’re currently in talks with two candidates, and one of those positions might be filled in the coming weeks. So for now, we’re focusing on hiring one Unity Developer, strictly onsite in Mumbai.

Our hiring process includes:

1. Introductory call
2. Assignment round
3. Technical interview

If all goes well, we move to the offer stage. The selected candidate will be on a 3-month probation, and we will require them to sign an NDA and employment contract before they begin working with us.
