Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on growing advertising business across multiple channels for large clients. Responsibilities include developing data-driven recommendations aligned with client objectives, collaborating with team members to drive long-term growth, delivering excellent customer experiences, and consulting with clients and agencies to expand relationships and optimize advertising campaigns. The role requires analyzing data trends, creating business plans, and presenting narratives to promote growth. Fluency in English and German is essential for managing client relationships within the designated region. Experience in advertising, consultative sales, or online media is necessary, with a preference for experience within the German advertising landscape or travel industry.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Data analysis & presentation skills
  • Client relationship management
  • Cross-channel advertising expertise

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the German advertising landscape or the Travel industry.
  • Experience with business techniques including effective questioning, and objection handling.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents.
  • Ability to think proactively and develop recommendations and action plans.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders through thought leadership.
  • Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Grow advertising cross-channel business through clear, data-driven point of views (PoV) and recommendations that align with customer business objectives.
  • Partner with fellow account team members to drive business opportunities that build long term growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering an excellent experience to Google's customers.
  • Collaborate and consult with direct customers and their agencies with the goal of extending relationships, grow the customer and optimizing their advertising.
  • Analyze data trends and consumer insights to develop business plans and prepare narratives to drive growth.
