About the job:
As an Analytics Developer at Google, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering analytics applications that provide insights to improve the quality of Google's data centers. You will lead the development of a custom analytics application, encompassing the UI, APIs, server-side code, and web-based visualizations. Your responsibilities will include strategizing and executing data acquisition, ensuring data quality, managing ETL processes, preparing data, designing and implementing advanced analytics and machine learning models, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business needs and ensure timely and efficient delivery of solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in application development
  • 3 years of experience in data management, governance, architecture, analysis, profiling, quality, and integration
  • Experience in SQL, Machine Learning, ETL, server-side application development, and client-side UI scripting
Good to have:
  • Experience in full-stack enterprise application development
  • Experience in hardware quality and reliability domains
  • Experience in Machine learning and advanced analytics

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in application development.
  • 3 years of experience with data management, data governance, data architecture, data analysis, data profiling, data quality, and system integration.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in full-stack enterprise application development.
  • Experience in hardware quality and reliability domains.
  • Experience in Machine learning and advanced analytics.
  • Experience with programming in SQL, Machine Learning, ETL, server side application development, and client side UI scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop analytics applications to deliver insights to improve Google's data center quality.
  • Lead the development of a custom analytics application, including the UI, Application Programming Interface (APIs), server side code, and web-based visualizations.
  • Lead strategy and execution across data acquisition, data quality, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), and data preparation.
  • Design and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models.
  • Engage stakeholders to gain an understanding of root business needs and to ensure these needs are met as efficiently and timely as possible.
