Job Description & Summary

As a Senior Associate within our Methodology function you will work as part of a team that supports the local onboarding and implementation of new standards, network guidance and methodologies, Global Assurance tools, technologies, and processes. This role will give you the opportunity to work with our support teams by driving the rollout and ongoing support of global assurance guidance, applications and related services.

This role will expand your network and puts you at the forefront of assisting our territory with onboarding global guidance and methodologies  and disseminating information and knowledge to the assurance practice. The role would report to a Methodology Senior Manager.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Handling Methodology related inquiries and offer solutions to the engagement teams

  • Assisting in the roll out of global methodology guidance

  • Preparing internal communication materials for the Assurance Practice

  • Understand needs and support engagement teams in onboarding new methodologies and tools

  • Assist in conducting training and / or refresher sessions within the Assurance Practice 

  • Support the Methodology team with reporting, including report preparation and KPIs monitoring

  • Understand and adhere to relevant policies and procedures

  • Contribute ideas and identify areas for improvements on a continuous basis

The requirements for this role include:

  • An ACCA, ACA or a recognised Accounting University Master's Degree OR in the final stages of ACCA/ACA

  • Being analytical and with an eye for detail

  • Being enthusiastic and eager to learn

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Excellent Excel, Google Doc, Sheets and Slides skills;

  • The ability to work with more senior stakeholders and ability to work in a team;

  • Self starter skills and the ability to work under your own initiative.
