Job Description

Google's Business Sales team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders, developing a comprehensive understanding of their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics, and structuring a clear long-term joint strategy between Google and clients. You will also lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success. Responsibilities include planning and achieving growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives, developing forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantifying high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers. You will also need to build knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently
  • Excellent public speaking, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to develop agreements
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Good to have:
  • Experience in recruiting and managing mobile app developers at a tech company or helping mobile apps achieve ecosystem success
  • Knowledge of established relationships within the online advertising industry
  • Understanding of the issues in the online/digital industry and insights of growth trajectory to drive strategies in the marketplace

Minimum qualifications:

In this role, you will provide excellent customer service to our advertisers within a specific industry such as E-commerce, Mobile Apps, Gaming, Internet of Things (IoT), Government, Finance, and Consumer Goods.

Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
