The Role

The Netflix MarComms, Advertising, Consumer Products & Experiences (MACC) Legal Team is seeking a talented and passionate coordinator to support our Marketing Legal team. 

To excel in this role as Coordinator, you must have strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail. You must be a great verbal and written communicator, able to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities at the same time, and be self-motivated, quick-thinking and adaptable to change. You must have the ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Netflix Legal, Legal Ops, Legal Delivery Business and Legal Affairs, and Marketing teams, in addition to other cross-functional partners.

This role is based in Los Angeles, CA and reports into the Head of Marketing Legal. The ideal candidate will be curious about marketing, demonstrate great initiative and be excited and inspired by the Netflix culture.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing summaries (e.g., talent agreements) and tracking legal provisions from various rights contracts

  • Tracking and managing key documents and milestones across programs such as Airtable and Google Suite

  • Utilizing new technology such as Evisort to assist with document review and management

  • Facilitating the completion and execution of contracts such as NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs

  • Assisting with research projects and preparing presentations and slide decks

  • Helping maintain internal team websites and resource pages

  • Supporting team members and internal business partners with uploading and sourcing contracts and business documents

  • Directing requests for legal review and supporting efficient workflow

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a coordinator, contract manager, or paralegal, ideally including familiarity and interest in the marketing, advertising and/or entertainment industries; experience in law firms or legal departments is a plus

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)

  • Ability to work autonomously, reliably and proactively within tight timeframes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

  • Ability to take initiative to identify and solve problems in a business-friendly and solutions-oriented manner

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines

  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity

  • Flexibility to work across various projects and teams

  • Fluency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Airtable, Google Suite and similar programs

 
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $70,000 - $350,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
