OhBiBi, a Parisian mobile gaming studio, is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team of 70 professionals. With a data team currently consisting of three members, we aim to provide valuable insights while enhancing our game development processes and delivering optimal player experiences. If you're passionate about gaming, data, and have a strong understanding of business dynamics, this position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise, contribute to impactful projects, and play a key role in the continuous improvement of our mobile games.

## Job Description:
As a Data Analyst at OhBiBi, you will support our game development and marketing teams by providing insightful analysis on player behavior, game performance, and user acquisition (UA) strategies. Your analyses will help us better understand in-game dynamics, improve player retention and conversion, and optimize our game features through iterative enhancements. Your ability to connect data insights with business implications will be crucial in driving strategic decision-making and improving the economic performance of our games.


## Key Responsibilities:

* Analyze player behavior to enhance user experience and loyalty, with consideration for key performance indicators.
* Support development teams by interpreting data related to game performance and player interactions.
* Conduct comprehensive analysis of AB tests to drive iterative improvements across our games.
* Develop and maintain dashboards for game and marketing teams to effectively monitor UA and game metrics.
* Collaborate closely with data scientists on machine learning projects, including feature identification, feature engineering, and model improvement.
* Play a pivotal role in UA management by producing up-to-date metrics and charts, and creating data ingestion jobs from partners (e.g., Facebook, Adjust).
* Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for operational teams and management.
* Participate in assessing game performance and scalability, providing an economic approach to the business.
* Conduct proactive analysis of our games' performance: explain their performance metrics and provide insights on how to improve the games.
* Contribute to strategic discussions about game monetization and long-term profitability.

## Our Tech Stack:
* dbt (SQL) / Looker Studio / Metabase / Dagster (Python) / AWS (S3, Redshift, ...)


# Requirements:

* Master's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a product-oriented or gaming environment.
* Excellent command of SQL
* Proven experience in analyzing complex data sets and creating impactful visualizations.
* Strong communication skills and ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
* Proactive, meticulous, and able to work independently.
* Understanding of key metrics in the mobile gaming industry (ARPU, LTV, retention, etc.)
* Ability to apply an economic approach to data analysis and business recommendations## Nice to Have:
* Experience with Looker Studio/Metabase/dbt.
* Proficiency with Python
* Knowledge of AB testing principles and statistical analysis.
* Previous experience in the video game industry.
* Familiarity with basic machine learning concepts.
* Experience in data-driven financial modeling and forecasting.
