This fully on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic Fraud and Payment Risk team, where your work will directly impact risk control and fraud prevention strategies.
As a Data Analyst II, you'll be responsible for managing and analyzing transactional and customer-based data. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and frameworks to support decision-making and enhance risk management efforts. You will collaborate across teams, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data, while using tools like SQL, Python, and Tableau to provide actionable insights.
Data Analyst II Responsibilities:
- Build and manage Tableau dashboards to visualize large data sets, supporting strategic decisions in fraud prevention and payment risk control.
- Analyze transactional and customer data to extract insights that enhance payment risk controls and fraud prevention strategies.
- Maintain and expand existing data pipelines and frameworks to ensure accuracy and alignment with team goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve global risk management policies and streamline processes.
- Work with sensitive data, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy while developing valuable metrics and insights.
- Lead backend meetings, communicate findings effectively, and adjust frameworks as new data sets emerge.
Data Analyst II Requirements:
Top 3 Required Skills (Non-Negotiables):
- Highly proficient in SQL (advanced experience)
- Strong data wrangling skills
- Extensive experience in Tableau/dashboard building
Nice to Have:
- Python knowledge
- Experience in data visualization
- Familiarity with data analytics techniques
- Background in payment risk or fraud prevention
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related role (candidates with less experience but strong skills are also encouraged to apply)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Experience in eCommerce, payment risk, banking, or any risk-related industry is a plus
Software Skills:
- SQL, Python, Tableau
- Data wrangling and analytics expertise
