Digital Project Manager

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Digital Product Manager for an innovative agency with startup & Fortune 500 clients.

This position reports to a senior team member and will support large-scale initiatives, with opportunities to lead smaller projects.

Current projects include email campaigns, strategic planning, analytics, as well as product design, websites, mobile applications, and branding efforts.

This is a hybrid role, so a commute to the Lower East Side should be easy about 3-4 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a project manager to help organize workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce risk. The ideal candidate has a background in managing digital product and marketing deliverables within an agency or similar setting. This individual enjoys multitasking and solving problems.
• Have ownership over client projects from scoping through delivery—projects will include strategy, analytics, creative design, production, development, branding, and deployment.
• Evaluate client requests to estimate project scopes to ensure appropriate levels of effort and high levels of execution.
• Plan and execute timelines and prioritize workloads across multiple projects & multiple clients, setting clear expectations across the team through constructive communication & understanding of technical requirements, and removing blockers.
• Lead internal standups and client status calls.
• Taking meeting notes, writing recaps, planning, and facilitating next steps.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with Creative & Development teams for websites and digital products, seeing a project through from conception to launch.
• Experience with project management software such as Asana, Jira, Airtable, Notion, etc.
• Some Project Management certification (PMI, etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
• Experience supporting pitches and new business onboarding, including pitch deck builds, scoping, and RFP/RFQ responses
• Handing off files to Tech or Dev teams knowledge (Tech PM) skills helpful.
