We’re currently seeking a Digital UX Design Strategist for a Fortune 500 client based in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and collaborative designer to contribute to cutting-edge customer experiences at one of the world’s most innovative companies.

In this 12-month contract role (with potential for extension), you’ll be joining a dynamic Design team, working to lead complex human-centered design strategies, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to create impactful digital solutions. If you're a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of UX design and a passion for delivering results, this is the perfect opportunity for you to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Design Workshops: Facilitate design thinking workshops, user research, and consultative sessions to drive human-centered design solutions.
  • Develop Design Strategies: Identify business needs and develop tailored design strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, engineers, etc.) to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and translate them into actionable design recommendations.
  • Train & Advocate: Develop and deliver training programs to advocate for human-centered design practices across the enterprise.
  • Manage Projects: Proactively manage design project timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure seamless execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of design processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Product Lifecycle Support: Provide strategic support through the entire product lifecycle, from research to launch, ensuring that the user experience is optimized at every stage.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) and 3+ years of relevant UX design experience, particularly in leading design workshops and user research.
  • Design Thinking: Proficiency in design thinking methodology, user research, human-centered design, and value prioritization.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate collaborative workshops and meetings.
  • Problem Solving: Passionate about identifying and solving design challenges with a user-centric approach.
  • Leadership: Ability to mentor team members and guide stakeholders to make informed, evidence-based decisions.
  • Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; proficient in tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar design software.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the assignment must last a minimum of 10 weeks.
