Fraud, Risk & Payments Analyst

What You'll Do

The Fraud, Risk & Payments Analyst is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks across fraud and payments processes to ensure secure and compliant operations. This role involves advanced fraud detection, comprehensive risk assessment, and hands-on management of payment activities. Additionally, the role provides mentorship to junior team members and contributes to optimizing fraud prevention strategies, policies, bonus abuse and workflows.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fraud, risk or payments role within the gambling/fintech industry.
• Oversee the processing of withdrawals, deposits, refunds, and other payment operations to ensure secure and efficient transaction handling.
• Identify and investigate complex or high-risk fraud cases using fraud detection tools, data analysis, and investigative techniques.
• Inter and Intra Departmental Communication and Collaboration.
• Monitor transactions and player behaviour for signs of advanced fraud patterns, including multi-accounting, bonus abuse, collusion, and money laundering.
• Develop, implement, and maintain risk management procedures in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of data to identify patterns, quantify risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures.
• Mentor and support junior analysts, providing training on fraud detection techniques, investigation best practices, and risk management tools.
• Keep up to date and knowledgeable on the latest fraud trends and regulations
