Job Description

The Fraud, Risk & Payments Analyst at Aristocrat Interactive is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks across fraud and payment processes. This involves advanced fraud detection, risk assessment, and managing payment activities. The role includes mentoring junior team members and optimizing fraud prevention strategies, policies, and workflows. Responsibilities include overseeing payment processing, investigating complex fraud cases, monitoring transactions for fraud patterns (e.g., multi-accounting, bonus abuse), developing risk management procedures, conducting data analysis, and staying updated on fraud trends and regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the gambling/fintech industry.

Must have:

2+ years experience in fraud, risk, or payments (gambling/fintech)
Advanced fraud detection and investigation skills
Data analysis and risk assessment expertise
Payment processing oversight
Risk management procedure development and implementation

Aristocrat Interactive is currently looking for a Fraud, Risk & Payments Analyst.

What You'll Do

The Fraud, Risk & Payments Analyst is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks across fraud and payments processes to ensure secure and compliant operations. This role involves advanced fraud detection, comprehensive risk assessment, and hands-on management of payment activities. Additionally, the role provides mentorship to junior team members and contributes to optimizing fraud prevention strategies, policies, bonus abuse and workflows.

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fraud, risk or payments role within the gambling/fintech industry.
Oversee the processing of withdrawals, deposits, refunds, and other payment operations to ensure secure and efficient transaction handling.
Identify and investigate complex or high-risk fraud cases using fraud detection tools, data analysis, and investigative techniques.
Inter and Intra Departmental Communication and Collaboration.
Monitor transactions and player behaviour for signs of advanced fraud patterns, including multi-accounting, bonus abuse, collusion, and money laundering.
Develop, implement, and maintain risk management procedures in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct in-depth analyses of data to identify patterns, quantify risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures.
Mentor and support junior analysts, providing training on fraud detection techniques, investigation best practices, and risk management tools.
Keep up to date and knowledgeable on the latest fraud trends and regulations
