ARHS Group – part of Accenture – is looking for a Functional Analyst to assist in the development of the health management platform for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Belgian Health Insurance domain.

Context

• The Web team works on all projects that are directly and indirectly linked to the client website and platforms (Web & Mobile App). Within this team, we are looking for a functional analyst who also has organizational skills and knows how to motivate and manage the team members. In addition to the position of Functional Analyst, they will also take on the role of scrum master within the team.
• Close collaboration between business and ICT in an Agile project mode.
• Support from an Agile coach and Service Delivery Manager
• Working in sprints of 10 working days.
• Daily standup to explain the status of the tasks to the team.
• Organize demos and animate with business to be able to set up short feedback loops.
• Flexible work location: 1 day a week in the office (Brussels).

Role & responsibilities

• The main task is to analyze user stories regarding the services of the Web & App applications, accounting for the requested functionalities of the business. This analysis is both functional (based on business requirements) and technical, to arrive at clear DevReady Jira tickets for the development team.
• Additional tasks as Scrum master, i.e. organizing and leading all Agile ceremonies (stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review, demos, story-mapping, ...) and managing the team with a view to qualitative and timely delivery of the project within the agreements and budgets made. People management skills and "management by objectives" are indispensable here.
• Assisting the tester in performing functional tests to validate the developed software
• Assisting the developers in the development of the software.

Your profile

• Fluent in Dutch. Good knowledge of English
• High "energy-level" and drive to grasp and finish things.
• Proactivity and a sense of responsibility are extremely important
• Thanks to your enthusiasm and drive, you know how to motivate/inspire your team to go the extra mile.
• Capable of monitoring priorities and declining nonessential & unsubstantial tasks.
• Persistent, organized, detail-oriented & purposeful.
• Able to thrive in a hybrid work environment: 4 days from home.

Technical skills

• Very strong and thorough functional and technical analysis skills
• Experience in working in an Agile environment and scrum team
• Experience in analysis for test-driven development
• Knowledge of Outsystems would be considered an asset
