Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience integrates EHS into project plans, and manages EHS aspects of projects.
- Experience in EHS for construction projects and implements safety protocols on sites.
- Experience in data center environments and ensures safe data center operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in EHS management, with a focus on construction projects in remote and challenging environments.
- Experience working in international organizations at scale.
- Experience working on the contracting, client, and developer sides of construction projects.
- Experience with due diligence, site acquisition, design localization and construction hand over.
- Knowledge of international EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program tailored to the unique challenges of construction in remote locations.
- Provide direct EHS support to Construction Technical Program Managers (TPMs) in the field.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
- Identify and assess EHS risks associated with construction activities and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Create a bespoke set of EHS standards aligned with Google and tailor them for the role and international best practice.
