We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

As the Employee Experience and Operations Manager, you will help shape and drive a meaningful employee experience and culture of belonging, by strategizing and developing employee experiences that connect and inspire our employees to do their best work and bring our PayPal vision to revolutionize commerce to life. In this role, you will drive and oversee our global activation strategy and operations to bring our engagement initiatives to life, laddering up to our enterprise strategy and business priorities.

This role is critical to ensuring employees are informed on our initiatives and programs, engaged in our culture and community, and inspired by the role they play in furthering PayPal’s vision, and values.

Job Description:

What you will do:
 

  • Develop and execute the global strategy for local employee experiences and events to bring PayPal’s mission to life
  • Maintain and build our Center of Excellence model and enablement model for global, regional and site engagement, with guidelines, process, and reviews, along with customizable templates and materials.
  • Develop ongoing metrics and analysis to measure and build on overall employee engagement.
  • Allocate and manage global and local budgets
  • Manage agency partnerships
  • Partner closely with global leaders across Real Estate and Facilities, HR, and local leadership.  


 

Qualities of the right candidate for this role:
 

  • A minimum of five years in engagement or events for a globally dispersed workforce.
  • Extremely proactive in identifying needs and jumping in to solve them.
  • Passion for driving understanding of business strategy, priorities and building community and sense of belonging among employees.
  • Comfortable and effective working with senior leaders; able to confidently offer ideas and negotiate plans, both verbally and in writing.
  • Creative and engaged in new forms of digital content and communications channels.
  • Ability to embrace ongoing change, pivot quickly, and effectively deliver against tight deadlines; demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and grace under pressure.
  • Enjoy both strategizing and “rolling up your sleeves” to execute plans.
  • Highly organized and able to effectively juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Diplomatic, with the ability to identify and manage organizational and cultural sensitivities.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$82500 to $187990

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
