Job Description

iManage is seeking a Global Total Rewards Manager to develop and lead the company's total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and payroll programs. This role involves ensuring competitive and equitable rewards, aligning them with business objectives, and promoting employee well-being. Responsibilities include managing compensation strategy, pay benchmarking, benefits design, global payroll oversight, and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have 8-12+ years of experience in Total Rewards, strong analytical and leadership skills, and a degree in HR, Business, or Finance. The role emphasizes a hybrid work model with in-office presence required on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Being a Global Total Rewards Manager at iManage Means…
You will play a pivotal role in shaping a high-impact Total Rewards strategy that directly influences how the organization attracts, retains, and supports its global workforce. By leading compensation, benefits, and payroll programs across multiple regions, you’ll ensure that employees are recognized and rewarded in meaningful, competitive, and equitable ways.

You’ll drive strategic alignment between total rewards and business objectives, champion employee wellbeing, and help build a culture where great people thrive. As the Total Rewards Manager you will lead with purpose, innovate with data, and make a lasting difference in the lives of employees worldwide.

iM Responsible For…
  • Developing and leading the organization’s global compensation strategy, including commission planning, senior leadership bonus schemes, and annual pay review processes.
  • Leveraging third-party data to inform pay scales and ensure competitive compensation structures.
  • Aligning compensation and reward strategies with company objectives in collaboration with People Ops and business leaders.
  • Identifying and implementing optimizations to improve the efficiency of compensation processes.
  • Leading global benefits strategy and programs—including healthcare, wellness, and retirement plans—to support employee wellbeing.
  • Overseeing global benefits enrolment and enhancing employee engagement and understanding of available offerings.
  • Managing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality benefits solutions.
  • Providing line management, mentorship, and support to the Global Benefits Manager.
  • Overseeing global payroll processes, ensuring compliance with tax legislation and adherence to best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll documentation in partnership with the Global Payroll Manager.
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and support to the Global Payroll Manager.
  • Staying current on total rewards trends to drive proactive improvements across compensation, benefits, and payroll.
  • Ensuring all total rewards processes are well-documented and kept current through process changes.
  • Partnering with People Ops and Finance to align total rewards strategies with broader business goals.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on total rewards best practices and industry developments.
iM Qualified Because I Have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or HR, including global leadership roles.
  • Deep knowledge of compensation strategy, pay benchmarking, benefits design, and international payroll compliance.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Dayforce) and data analysis tools.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proven ability to optimize processes and make data-informed decisions.

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $122,000 – $178,000 per year. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
