The Internal Audit Intern will assist in planning the Internal Audit calendar, prepare and improve narratives and process workflows using MS Word and Visio. Responsibilities include scheduling and attending walkthroughs with the business, and preparing control testing requests via Audit Board. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, understands internal control frameworks, and has knowledge of accounting and auditing principles. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards is beneficial. The internship is full-time and spans 12 weeks, with two cohort tracks available. The role is based in Milpitas, CA.

Job Description

YOU WILL:

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18+ years of age
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in any accredited institution 
  • Pursuing an Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate Degree, and returning for at least a final term following the internship
  • All Interns must be able to commit to one of the two cohort tracks that span 12-weeks

We will have two cohort tracks that you may choose from that span a 12-week period:

  • COHO1 – May 21st, 2025 – August 8th, 2025
  • COHO2 – June 17th, 2025  – September 5th, 2025

Internship Requirements:

  • You are actively enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited institution and have completed at least one year of education.
  • You are pursuing either an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree, and returning for at least a final term following the summer internship.
  • You are able to fully commit to one of the two 12-week (40 hours per week) internship cohort tracks.
  • You must be at least 18+ years of age at the start of the internship.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  

Hourly pay range $25
