Job Description

You will join the coordination team within Ubisoft's IT department. This department is composed of various teams supporting a wide range of products and technologies, from tools related to cybersecurity to managing the IT technologies supporting our games and teams. As a Financial Analyst, your mission will involve several key aspects. On one hand, you will facilitate budget operations with the department's various stakeholders. On the other hand, you will act as a liaison, coordinating with the IT Financial Planning teams, the dedicated coordination team, internal clients, and top management during the monthly and quarterly presentations of financial analyses.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the key point of contact for all IT-related cost issues within the department;
  • Producing analyses and supporting managers in managing their budgets;
  • Presenting analyses and budgets to IT top management, IT teams, and internal clients;
  • Collaborating closely with other analysts in the ITFP team and participating in or supporting the monthly closing process (calculating provisions, assessing P&L impacts, etc.), as well as reviewing references and services;
  • Proactively proposing improvements to IT cost modeling;
  • Analyzing costs proactively and helping identify inconsistencies and budget risks quickly;
  • Actively contributing to the automation, standardization, and optimization of our financial processes;
  • Establishing relevant KPIs for tracking the domain;
  • Optimizing activity reports.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from a business school, engineering school, or equivalent, you have a proven initial experience as a financial controller, auditor, or in financial analysis.

    Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in the following Office tools: Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent communication skills (including presentations to executives);
  • Strong attention to detail, proactivity, and autonomy;
  • Sense of responsibility and organizational skills;
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Interest in the video game industry;
  • Fluent/Bilingual in English.
  • Nice to Have:

  • Programming skills (VBA, Java, Web);
  • Knowledge of data science and business intelligence;
  • Proven experience with tools such as Anaplan, MicroStrategy, Tableau, HFM, PeopleSoft;
  • Prior experience in IT-related finance.

Recruitment Process

[30 minutes]: Phone interview with the recruiter,
[60 minutes]: Interview with the hiring manager and the recruiter,
Technical test,
[30 minutes]: Interview with 2 members of the IT Financial Planning team,
[30 minutes]: Final interview with the IT Director.
