As a Junior Product Designer at Recorded Future, you'll be responsible for the user experience of their digital products. Your focus will be on building the right product and building it right. Daily tasks include communicating design decisions, aligning teams around user scenarios, and driving solution iterations. You'll collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers. Responsibilities include product discovery, creating wireframes and designs in Figma, working with data-heavy interfaces, generating and validating design ideas, and evangelizing the value of design. The role requires experience shipping software products, understanding user research, and proficiency in Figma.

As a Junior Product Designer at Recorded Future you will be responsible for the user experience of our digital products, together with our amazing design team. Your primary focus will be to make sure we build the right thing. Then, to build it right. Communicating design decisions, aligning teams around user scenarios, and driving solution iterations will be your day-to-day. You will be working closely with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Full Stack Developers, and other designers to deliver the best possible experience for our clients. 

Responsibilities:

  • Doing product discovery together with Product Managers, our User Researcher, and measuring feature success through qualitative and quantitative research
  • Understanding and sketching user workflows 
  • Creating wireframes as well as pixel perfect designs in Figma
  • Drive design on releases within cross-functional teams 
  • Working with information-heavy interfaces – your job is to make the data shine ● Generating ideas and validating designs with both internal users and clients 
  • Evangelizing the product design team and value of design across all levels of the organization 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated work experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer or similar, shipping software products to end users 
  • Good understanding of User Research 
  • Good experience working with Figma (at least 1,5 years of experience) and strong Design System skills
  • Strong interest in highly technical products, complex problem solving, and the possibilities they may offer 
  • A go-getter mentality, who takes initiative and is ready to learn new things
  • An ability to clearly communicate your thought process, and design to the team and stakeholders through effective visual and verbal presentations 
  • To be comfortable with a lot of unknowns, and understand how to navigate this to get the job done in a fast-paced, growing company 
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills 
  • A portfolio (online or PDF) showing some of your previous work

Nice to have: 

  • Experience in working with technically complex software with data-heavy interfaces 
  • SaaS and B2B experience
