The Key Account Manager Leasing will drive the strategic sales agenda for Leaseco in the Netherlands. Responsibilities include managing relationships with large national leasecos, ensuring a positive customer journey, meeting sales objectives, establishing contractual agreements, partnering with HQ and local teams, developing growth strategies, and ensuring timely payments. The role requires leveraging existing relationships, creating new accounts, and utilizing available assets effectively. Collaboration with Tesla teams for coaching and training is also included, along with continuous process improvement.

What to Expect
The Key Account Manager Leasing will be responsible for driving the strategic sales agenda for Leaseco’s in The Netherlands. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with your clients, and managing the full end-to-end customer journey. You will also partner with local teams to help them refine their strategies, deeply understand their problems, and drive programs to improve the overall business sales process. The Key Account Manager will report to the Business Lead and will closely collaborate with other teams, including local operations and HQ business sales leadership to consistently drive new and repeat business.


What You’ll Do
  • Own the relationship for large national leaseco’s, not only educating them about our company and our vehicle offerings but ensuring a great customer journey and ownership experience throughout
  • Leverage existing leasing company relationships and/or partner with all existing Leasing channels to grow sales within this segment
  • Establish and manage all contractual agreements with these customers; where applicable
  • Meet sales objectives by driving new account creation, deliverable orders, scheduling sales meetings, and making the best use of available assets (e.g. vehicles for test drives) as well as driving strong AR performance with clients to ensure timely payments for existing products and services
  • Actively partner with HQ and local leaders to develop a cohesive strategy for the growth of vehicle sales in The Netherlands
  • Ensure teams are equipped with the tools and resources necessary to succeed
  • Manage the overall business plan by working with other departments. Facilitate partner meetings regularly and effectively
  • Drive our customers’ success by acting as a facilitator to meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, processes and business finance solutions. Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis
  • Actively collaborate with Tesla teams (field sales and account managers) to provide coaching and training on Business-to-Business sales
  • Use Tesla’s Customer Relation Management system and tools to log appointments, calls, test drives, contacts and meeting notes
  • Ensure customers are fulfilling their contractual obligations (e.g. payment terms)
  • Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to reduce operational friction
  • Take ownership and operate with first principles thinking
  • Love to change the status quo and work well in high-pressure situations
  • Possess a rare combination of mental agility, analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and a customer-service mindset
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Significant experience in Business-to- Business or commercial sales with proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and goals
  • Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail
  • Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Ability to communicate relevant information to all levels of the organization
  • Passionate dedication and ethical approach to sales management and operations
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner that others want to work with
  • Strong team-player, driven and passionate about Tesla’s mission
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Solid knowledge of business appropriate financial options and incentives
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is required
  • Valid Driver’s license
