Who We're Looking For

The QA Lead is a senior position responsible for the Software Quality Assurance team, leading new and existing Quality Assurance initiatives, and will be instrumental in managing QA processes, driving test methods, risk analysis, resource planning and estimating for client projects.

Some Of What You'll Do

12-15 years’ experience working in a Quality Assurance Engineer role.

Experience in software testing/ quality assurance with web-based applications and client-server applications.

Must have experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

Deep database (RDBMS) technology understanding with hands on experience in SQL and procedural languages(PLSQL developer, TOAD, MongoDB etc).

Solid experience in API testing.

Experience in automation testing using Selenium/cucumber or similar frameworks.

Experience with CI/CD Platforms (e.g., GIT, Jenkins).

Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced Agile environment with diverse/ multiple stakeholders.

Strong experience / demonstrated success in releasing high-quality products.

Experience to work on Agile Scrum methodology.

Experience working using JIRA/QC/BUGZILLA or other industry standard test management tool. Experience with Zephyr (a Jira plugin) is a plus.

Knowledge in Shell scripting /Python scripting.

Secondary Skills

Experience or knowledge in Shell scripting /Python scripting

The Telecom domain with experience in OSS / BSS is an added advantage

Lead Engineer

Candidate having 12 -15 Years of experience and proficiency in below

• Design, plan, execute, monitor, improve testing process for a testing engagement.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• should be able to provide small team leadership and influence groups outside of QA
• Oversee/ensure the quality of test plans, test cases, test matrix, and bug reporting.
• Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes for both new and existing products.
• Demonstrated presentation and proposal writing/preparation skills.
• Define approach to test entire systems.
• Conduct thorough manual testing when necessary, including but not limited to integration, system, usability, and regression testing.
• Document, track, and report defects and issues identified during testing, working closely with developers to facilitate their resolution.
• Exposure to agile methodology and working in SCRUM.
• Participate in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives with a focus on continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.
• Experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a preference for experience in the telecom sector.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, cucumber, JMeter) and scripting languages (e.g. Shell ,Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
