We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resource Manager with 8–10 years of expertise in resource planning, allocation, and utilization management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating across delivery, recruitment, and project management teams to ensure optimal resource deployment and workforce planning. Responsibilities include managing end-to-end resource planning, allocation, and onboarding; collaborating with project managers, delivery leads, and HR; monitoring and reporting on resource utilization, bench strength, and productivity metrics; maintaining detailed records of skills inventory, resource assignments, and project allocations; and continuously refining resource management processes and tools. The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree

Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resource Manager with 8–10 years of expertise in resource planning, allocation, and utilization management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of collaborating across delivery, recruitment, and project management teams to ensure optimal resource deployment and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Planning & Allocation: Manage end-to-end resource planning, allocation, and onboarding for multiple projects. Maintain accurate and up-to-date resource forecasts and availability. Proactively identify potential resource gaps and conflicts and resolve them effectively.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, delivery leads, and HR to understand project pipeline and resource demands. Work closely with recruitment teams to fill open roles with the right skills in a timely manner.
  • Utilization Management: Monitor and report on resource utilization, bench strength, and productivity metrics. Recommend and implement strategies to optimize resource usage and reduce bench time.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of skills inventory, resource assignments, and project allocations. Generate regular dashboards and reports on resource KPIs, including utilization, availability, and forecast accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine resource management processes and tools to improve efficiency and transparency. Drive initiatives for skill mapping, competency development, and internal mobility.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or operations in a project-based or matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles, delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and staffing needs.
  • Proficiency in resource management tools (e.g., SAP, MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview, etc.).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in IT services, consulting, or a global delivery environment. Certification in project management or resource management (e.g., PMP, PPM, or RMCP). Familiarity with skill taxonomy and competency frameworks.
