Job Description

The High Net Worth Specialist drives growth in wealth management by supporting financial professionals in identifying, positioning, and closing complex planning opportunities for affluent clients. This role involves partnering with external wholesalers, internal consultants, and product specialists to deliver advanced planning strategies, tailored case design, and value-added insights. Success is measured by GDC growth and advisor engagement. Responsibilities include driving sales across HNW solutions, delivering subject matter expertise in private markets, structured investments, alternative investments, philanthropy, lending, and investment management, and partnering on case design and portfolio analysis.

  • Partner with research and due diligence team for review and strategy of portfolio analysis
  • Maintain activity and KPIs through consistent and timely activity tracking
  • Closely work with Western Territory Wealth Management teams to identify HNW opportunities within the region
  • 5+ years overall experience in wealth management, preferably advisory and/or alternative investments
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Series 7, 65/66 required
  • Strong relationship and consultative management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

Job Details

Park Avenue Securities was founded in 1999 as a complement to Guardian’s traditional portfolio of individual life and annuity insurance products. Park Avenue Securities is Guardian’s broker-dealer and corporate Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), which offers clients an expanded suite of products and solutions to help them achieve financial well-being.

The High Net Worth Specialist plays a critical role in driving growth within our wealth management business by supporting financial professionals in identifying, positioning, and closing complex planning opportunities with affluent clients. This role partners closely with external wholesalers, internal consultants, and product specialists to deliver advanced planning strategies, tailored case design, and value-added insights focused on the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals and families. Success is measured by GDC growth within targeted segments and advisor engagement across the HNW planning continuum.

You will

  • Be responsible for driving sales across the suite of HNW solutions available on the Park Avenue platform.
  • Deliver subject matter expertise in areas such as private markets, structured investments, alternative investments, philanthropy, lending, and investment management.
  • Partner with advisors on case design, strategy, and implementation for client portfolios
  • Partner with research and due diligence team for review and strategy of portfolio analysis.
  • Maintain activity and KPIs through consistent and timely activity tracking.
  • Closely work with Western Territory Wealth Management teams to identify HNW opportunities within the region

You have

  • 5+ years overall experience in wealth management, preferably advisory and/or alternative investments
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Series 7, 65/66 required; professional designations (CIMA, CFP, CPWA) a plus
  • Strong relationship and consultative management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, articulate, polite, confident, able to establish relationships with the Field, including GAs, Investment Specialists, FRs, MDs, and Home Office personnel.

Location

  • In Territory- Western Part of US.
  • Travel as needed; Up to 10-30% travel focused on agency events, conferences and in person advisor meetings.

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $105,000

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
