Onward Search seeks a Marketing Project Manager for a 6-month contract (potential extension) at a financial services company in Westwood, MA (hybrid, 3 days/week). Responsibilities include reviewing job requests and briefs, tracking projects, managing milestones and schedules, ensuring stakeholder communication, collaborating with the Marketing Manager and other teams on creative direction, managing budgets, coordinating with vendors, and archiving assets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in high-volume project management, proficient in project workflow tools, knowledgeable about print and digital media specs, and possesses excellent communication skills.

We’re looking to hire a Marketing Project Manager (contract) for well-known financial services company. 

  • This is a 6 month contract opportunity which has the potential to extend.
  • Location: Westwood, MA - Hybrid - 3x a week).

Responsibilities:
  • Reviews all job initiation requests and creative briefs, and confirms that sufficient details, including asset sizes and specs, have been provided
  • Responsible for tracking jobs through the workflow tool and making sure all project data is up to date daily
  • Proactively manages milestones throughout the project lifecycle, from creating detailed schedules, to setting up kick-off and presentation meetings
  • Responsible for keeping all project members and stakeholders informed of their project status, and partners closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure alignment between the creative team and the requestor’s strategic direction
  • Partners closely with the Marketing Manager to make sure feedback is clear and remains in line with initial creative direction
  • Partners with internal teams and external vendors to request cost estimates for printing and production services (i.e. printed brochures, signage, video, and photo services), as well as routing proofs and ensuring completion of compliance sign offs
  • Partners with the asset librarian and creative team on final archiving of approved assets within the DAM
  • Provides crisis management and troubleshoots as necessary throughout the project to ensure jobs are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality

Requirements:
  • Required Qualifications
    • Must be detail oriented and have at least 4-5 years of related experience working in a high-volume project/production management capacity
    • Proven ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Demonstrated aptitude/experience working within a project workflow tool
    • Working understanding of print production specs, digital media, web development and technical specifications and dependencies
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Proven experience with developing and executing production schedules
  • Desired Qualifications
    • Experience using project management/workflow software, such as Aprimo
    • Experience coordinating Direct Mail and Email campaigns, as well as video and photography projects
    • Working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, HTML and processes a plus
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
