Job Description

The Materials Planner is responsible for managing the supply of materials to execute the production plan. This includes ensuring that raw materials, components, and resources are available and delivered on time to support production and maintain inventory levels. Key responsibilities include evaluating and forecasting material requirements, coordinating with production and purchasing teams, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, and resolving supply chain issues. The role also involves implementing purchasing and inventory management strategies to optimize supply and reduce inventory levels, as well as maintaining a stable flow of incoming materials and reviewing demand and supply patterns. Additionally, the Materials Planner works closely with cross-functional teams for product development and production planning.
Must have:
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Proven experience in similar roles
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP planning systems
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in using Power BI for data analysis and visualization

El Planificador de Masteriales se encarga de gestionar el abastecimiento de materiales para ejecutar el plan de producción. Esto incluye asegurar que las materias primas, componentes y recursos estén disponibles y se entreguen a tiempo para apoyar la producción y mantener los niveles de inventario. 

Principales responsabilidades: 

  • Evaluar y pronosticar los requerimientos de materiales utilizando el sistema SAP, compartir con los proveedores el plan de compras.
  • Coordinar con los equipos de producción y compras para asegurar un suministro adecuado de materiales.
  • Desarrollar y mantener relaciones con proveedores para asegurar la entrega a tiempo de materiales.
  • Evaluar el desempeño de los proveedores en términos de calidad, costo y puntualidad de entrega.
  • Resolver problemas relacionados con la cadena de suministro, incluyendo retrasos, discrepancias en el inventario o problemas con los proveedores.
  • Implementar estrategias de compras y gestión de inventarios para optimizar el abastecimiento reduciendo el nivel de inventario.
  • Mantener un flujo de ingreso de materiales estable para no exceder la capacidad del depósito
  • Realizar revisiones regulares de la demanda y los patrones de suministro de materiales para identificar tendencias y hacer los ajustes necesarios
  • Trabajar estrechamente con equipos multifuncionales para el desarrollo de productos y la planificación de la producción

Tus calificaciones: 

  • Título universitario o estudiantes avanzado en Ingeniería Industrial, Logística, Administración de Empresas o afines 
  • Inglés Avanzado
  • Experiencia comprobable en roles similares.
  • Conocimiento en sistemas de planificación ERP/MRP
  • Habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas 
  • Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y comunicarse efectivamente 
  • Conocimiento avanzado de Microsoft Office, especialmente Excel.
  • Experiencia en el uso de Power BI para análisis y visualización de datos.
