Job Summary

Job Description

Blazesoft is seeking a talented back-end .Net Developer to design and implement user-facing features for their web applications. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining web applications using C# (.Net), writing clean and efficient code, engaging in functional programming practices, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs, participating in project management, conducting unit and end-to-end testing, and continuously learning new technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with C#/.Net Core, and experience with MongoDB/NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is preferred. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Vaughan, Canada.

Must have:

5+ years C#/.Net Core experience
Develop and maintain web applications
Write clean, efficient code
Collaborate with front-end developers
Conduct unit and end-to-end testing

We are currently seeking a talented back-end developer to join our team and play a key role in designing and implementing user-facing features for our web applications.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using C# (.Net)

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

Engage in functional programming practices to improve application performance and scalability

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate RESTful APIs

Participate in project management activities, ensuring timely delivery of tasks

Conduct unit testing and end-to-end testing to ensure code quality and application stability

Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices

Requirements

Minimum 5 years hands on experience with C#/.Net Core

MongoDB/NoSQL: 3 years (preferred)

Docker: 2 years (preferred)

Kubernetes: 2 years (preferred)

CI/CD: 2 years (preferred)

Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Open mindset for learning and continuous improvement

Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
