Role Summary:
Deliver master data management service to various NXP organizations including but not limited to Product Life Cycle Management system, Document Management System, ERP system covering Customer Master Data – Routes and Transportation Zones, Production Master Data (Bills of Material, etc.), Material Master Data, and MES system with the goal of providing accurate, timely and efficient processing to support stable operations.
Ensure that the targets defined to support and achieve the objectives and key performance indicators are met, if not exceeded both for Timeliness and Data Quality.
Manage the provision of the GMDM Service ensuring that the NXP Values are supported and adhered to.
Job Responsibility:
Provide support on critical incidents that hamper end-users to work with the system(s) or execute the processes by solving the deviation in expected behavior or putting a work-around in place.
Monitor SAP/Winshuttle workflow queues and process as needed, and work with IT for solution.
Use problem solving skills to enhance material master data related process.
Provide support on “how-to” questions and ad hoc activities that enable users to execute their function.
Update and review KPI trend, evaluate process improvement opportunity and form project to execute.
Translate business requirements into procedures, processes or functional system specifications and put them forward through the change control and implementation process. Make sure users know the business impact, new ways of working and what the change means to users.
Ensure that all materials (procedures, working instructions and training material) are in place, up to date and easily accessible for users. When necessary, S&P will update these materials. Proactive identification of required training needs and conduct knowledge training in the user community.
Represent the business in supply chain projects with relation to systems and processes as defined in the agreed Supply Chain roadmap or by SCO Management.
Drive and support GMDM and SCO related projects.
Job Qualification:
Bachelor degree of Business Administration, Management Information System, Industrial Engineering/Management or equivalent
At least 1 – 2 years of experience in Supply Chain management and Material Master Data Maintenance
Good knowledge of supply chain concepts, service delivery and process improvement methodologies
Strong experience/background in MS Excel would be advantageous
Experience in data analysis and data mining
Experience in supporting Quality standards
Good Knowledge of ERP (SAP), SCM, or PLM system is a plus
Previous exposure to a multi-cultural environment is a plus
Solid understanding of Microsoft office application
Good/Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and articulate effectively
Self-motivated to learn and succeed in an action oriented, results-driven environment
Ability to learn fast, self and process driven, team player in a multi-national corporate working environment
