About the job:
The gReach Program is a 12-month paid upskilling program for industry professionals with disabilities. As a Partner Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing partner events. You will collaborate closely with the partner managers, partner engineers, and partner marketing team to develop event strategies that align with overall partner business goals. You will manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, business agreement negotiation, logistics, budget management, attendee registration, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up. You will create innovative event formats and content that resonate with our target audience and deliver a positive and memorable experience for partners. You will track and analyze event performance metrics, such as attendance, engagement, lead generation, and ROI. You will prepare post-event reports with key findings and recommendations for improvement. You will foster strong relationships with partners through effective communication, collaboration, and support.
Must have:
  • 1 year of experience planning and executing end-to-end online/offline events
  • Experience using Google Workspace or other productivity tools
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently
Good to have:
  • Experience managing projects
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing circumstances

Minimum qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience planning and executing end to end online/offline events.
  • Experience using Google Workspace or other productivity tools.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to build relationships with partners, stakeholders, and attendees of the events.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing projects, with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is an external partner facing role and some of the attendees of the events only speak English.

The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.
