The Challenge

We are seeking a driven, goal-oriented, self-motivated, high energy and hardworking individual to join our team. Duties will include supporting the Payroll Manager on full cycle monthly payroll for 600+ employees. Work with the payroll vendor to ensure a smooth and timely process. In addition, this position will work closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll processes.

What You’ll Take On

  • Support the payroll function by performing the calculation, and entering of data to ensure accurate, timely and proper controlled payments to employees.
  • Partner closely with payroll vendor and perform due checks and balances across the entire lifecycle of the payroll process to ensure accuracy (payroll input from Workday to vendor, as well as review the Pay register generated by Payroll vendor, through the processing of payroll via payment uploads)
  • Ensure the organization complies with the income and social tax withholding requirements by becoming familiar with existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Ensure all tax forms are prepared accurately and all tax submissions, statutory reports, and payments are executed in a timely manner.
  • Perform reconciliations for quarter end and year-end tax filings and accounting reconciliation of payroll records to the general ledger and monthly payroll related journal entries.
  • Collaborate with other departments and locations in the resolution of payroll problems.
  • Monitor Payroll inbox and reply to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
  • Facilitate and perform regular payroll audits and prepare supporting schedules for external and internal auditors.
  • Maintain SOX policies, procedures and compliance with respect to the payroll process.
  • Lead and participate in special projects as necessary.
  • Assist with payroll related internal communications.

What You Bring

  • 3- 5 years of experience in payroll preparation and processing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited college/university
  • In-depth India Payroll knowledge is needed.
  • Knowledge of global payroll is an added advantage.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and complete day-to-day tasks as well as larger projects with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise utmost discretion.
  • Experience performing account reconciliations, researching variances, and recommending/performing proper remediation steps.
  • Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, including strong proficiency in Excel
  • A committed teammate, detail oriented and an effective communicator.
