Project description

We are seeking a PowerBI expert to join a data project. You will be working for one of our precious client along with other engineers.

Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in PowerBI development, implement new dashboards and best practices as well as continuously improve the existing ones. In addition to this, you will also be reporting day to day progress to the senior leadership.

Skills

Must have

5+ years of experience

Expert Power BI development skills including in depth DAX and SQL.

Define best practice and approach for presentation layer and access to data.

Defining, advising, and improving our governance and technology footprint around our Power BI technology stack.

Developing and supporting report development

from IT controlled through to end user usage of power BI and other reporting tools.

Thorough understanding of different Power BI deployment options.

Power BI Administration & Security Best Practices.

Expert Data Modelling skills.

Performance Tuning.

Expert TSQL skills developing complex stored procedures

Microsoft SQL Server Development

Nice to have

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

A proactive, motivated approach.

The ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work accordingly managing large workloads and tight deadlines

Strong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgement

A calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurized environment
