Principal Software Engineering Manager

We are the Bing Places team that delivers great local search and maps experiences to hundreds of millions of global users as part of Microsoft’s Bing search experiences. We are responsible for building modern UX on multiple platforms leveraging the latest rendering technologies for web and mobile.

• Build and manage a diverse team of Software Engineers.
• Mentor software developers in their technical and professional development.
• Drive projects while collaborating with PM/Design counterparts and other engineering teams in order to successfully execute on our roadmap and achieve team’s strategic objectives.
• Design and implement large scale engineering systems, applications, and features that enable us to deliver great user experiences for customers on desktop and mobile.
• Champion data-driven decisions through insights gained from customer feedback, feature usage and competitive analyses.
• Establish a positive, inclusive and fun team environment where every employee can do their best. Generate energy, provide clarity and deliver great results through a high performing team.
