Job Description

The Product Activation Manager at YouTube's Partner Sales team will lead Go-To-Market strategies for the Americas. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Content Partnerships, Product, Finance, and other teams. Responsibilities include shaping partner sales product strategy, developing Go-To-Market strategies, creating communications for new products, synthesizing global market feedback, creating insightful reports highlighting user/partner issues and business opportunities, and presenting to C-level executives. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is essential for supporting LATAM relationships. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management skills, understands the YouTube ecosystem, and excels in strategic thinking, communication, and data analysis.
Must have:
  • 4+ years experience in management consulting or related fields
  • 4+ years experience in spreadsheet modeling and presentations
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Develop and execute Go-to-Market strategies

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity; or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience in spreadsheet modeling (slide creations, data visualization) and presenting to executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish or Portuguese fluently to support LATAM relationships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong project management skills, and experience managing complex projects across multiple functions and product areas.
  • Understanding of the YouTube ecosystem (viewers, creators, advertisers) and products.
  • Expertise with or an understanding of ad sales business models.
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, and impeccable business judgment.
  • Investigative mindset, strong strategic thinking, clear communication, attention to detail and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; synthesizing user feedback into finding products that can use and translate complex product offerings simply for users.

About the job

The YouTube Business Product Activation team is responsible for bringing products to market and the market to product. The team will work closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding the needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, and tracking performance.

The YouTube Partner Sales Go-To-Market Strategy (GTMS) team is responsible for the performance of our YouTube Partner Sales program which spans TV, Film, News, Music, Kids, and Creator ecosystem partners. Our Partner Sales team creates and maintains the program architecture, develops go-to-market strategies, and supports our strategic partner managers (i.e. SPMs) and YouTube Partner Sellers to improve their selling capabilities across the full suite of YouTube products (YouTube main, YouTube TV, Primetime Channels, etc.).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Set the Go-To-Market strategy for our Americas Partner Sales efforts, including influencing cross-functional senior stakeholders, and driving execution on product and business priorities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Content Partnerships, Product Managers, Finance, and more to shape Partner Sales product strategy, craft Go-To-Market strategies, develop comms for new products, and synthesize global market feedback.
  • Develop insights reports that highlight the user and partner issues and business opportunities that product should prioritize.
  • Perform C-level presentations for major program updates or decision points.
  • Work with evaluation and internal approval processes.
