As the lead for the Authentication Flows team, you will be responsible for optimizing the login user experience across all PayPal surfaces.
Your Day to Day:
In this role you will,
Build high-growth consumer facing products: You will have experience building high-growth B2C or consumer products. Whilst deeply technical, authentication is a very human interaction, and you will have a feel for humanizing software experiences.
Build Scalable Products: A key success factor of the role is a robust strategy, developed in partnership with other key product leaders, on how we scale secure identity solutions across geographies, devices, and operating systems with the goal of delivering simple, consistent, and secure experiences for consumers and merchants.
Have advanced problem-solving skills: This role will require advanced problem-solving skills to build elegant solutions to thorny problems due to the complexity of the technical and regulatory environment in which our products are deployed. This leader will be comfortable using data and experimentation to arrive at solutions.
Be a Leader and collaborate: Login touches every product that is built across PayPal. You must be able to bring people around a shared vision and drive execution across teams by influence and inspiration.
At least 5 years’ experience building consumer or B2C software
Prior experience building Identity or Authentication products
Direct prior experience in eCommerce, FinTech, and banking ecosystem a major plus
5+ years managing product and technology teams across multiple products and industries
Proven track record for building, launching, and maintaining high-scale, successful products
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated executive leadership experience with ability to lead, inspire and motivate a global team to achieve world-class performance.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong business and technical acumen. Can balance technical and business concerns when making product decisions.
Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, influencing and decision-making skills and high attention to detail.
Ability to operate in ambiguity and build a world class team for this area at PayPal and be a talent magnet
