Job Summary: 

Production Coordinators are an intricate part of our team. You’ll be responsible for the active development and management of projects at a high-level. From assisting with project-related aesthetic, show and guest-experience elements, to being in the room at all meetings/taking meeting notes, and allotting assignments, we’ll rely on you to keep day-to-day operations flowing smoothly and calling out challenges before they happen. 


You’ll be working hand-in-hand with our Production Team as our Client’s Responsible Individual (RI) on assigned projects, overseeing meeting notes, and assignments, managing external/internal resources, and determining strategies to ensure the successful completion of all tasks and/or assignments through all aspects of design and production from original concept through final installation.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain client relationships and conduct status updates, meetings and milestones.
  • Coordinate communication documents (internal and external) with the Production/Engineering Team.
  • Package key deliverables to Production Team, then once approved, to Client.
  • Be the keyholder of internal systems, including development and Scrum dashboards. 
  • Assist Production Team with project documentation including Scopes of Work, schedules, technical and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with Creative and Engineering teams to set goals and check quality of deliverables and review deliverables.
  • Resolve issues in a timely and diplomatic manner and utilize change management to remain agile to account for changes in project scope.
  • Step in, and self-start, solutioning to assist when “all hands on deck” with production throughput and capacity. 
  • Collaborate in defining and implementing project management processes and workflows.
  • Coordination of third-party vendors, budgets, milestones, deadlines, and installations. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Salary:

  • Base salary plus performance bonuses.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree: Preferred, from a four year college or university in Theatrical Arts, Theme Park or Entertainment Design, related field, or equivalent of experience.
  • Required 2-3 Years: experience in high-impact project management.
  • Required 2-3 Years: experience in media related design/production field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Additional Information: 

  • Strong production portfolio, including Coordination effort examples.
  • Thorough understanding and organization of budgeting, scheduling, bid package preparation and variety of vendors.  
  • Basic knowledge of technologies, including A/V, robotics, engineering, coding, building and various show systems.
  • Knowledge of architectural, project management and production/construction practices.  
  • Demonstrates ability to lead our team, instill a spirit of teamwork and promote staff development.  
  • Makes independent choices free from immediate supervision.
  • Possesses solid aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to support the creative process and to facilitate communication between all disciplines.
