The Program Manager, Ads Content Operations and Testing (ACOT) at Google will lead and execute Ads programs in partnership with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include planning, prioritization, and delivery of experiments, AI model development, and new product launches. This role requires building strategic capabilities, overseeing the incubation of new workflows (guidelines, calibration, process definition), and leveraging product insights to drive operational strategy. The ideal candidate will identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate effectively. The ACOT team plays a pivotal role in bringing new ad products to market, ensuring quality user experience, and driving business growth. The role requires managing third-party logistics relationships, operational process improvement and cross-organizational change management.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years managing warehousing and supply chain operations
  • 5 years managing third-party logistics
  • Lead and drive program execution and delivery
  • Build strategic capabilities and new workflows
Good to have:
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Experience with cross-functional stakeholders and executives
  • Experience implementing operational process improvements
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing warehousing and supply chain operations.
  • 5 years of experience working, supervising, and managing third-party logistics relationships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and executives to prioritize and ensure key initiatives move forward in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Experience implementing operational process improvements and driving cross-organizational change management across scaled global operations in a shared services environment.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform strategic direction of projects, and to craft compelling narratives.

Transforming Google Ads through user knowledge and AI, the gTech Ads Content Operations and Testing (ACOT) team is Google's Center of Excellence for Ads in Content Operations, Quality Enforcement, Testing and Human Evaluations. The team plays a pivotal role in bringing new ads products to market, ensuring the quality of users’ experiences with ads, and driving business growth for the ads business.

We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive planning, prioritization, execution, and delivery of Ads programs in partnership with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams, including experiments, AI model development and tuning, and new product launches.
  • Build strategic capabilities (e.g., new human evaluation service offerings, processes, frameworks, tools/automation) to accelerate Ads product development cycles.
  • Oversee incubation of new workflows including development of guidelines, managing calibration across Google teams and supplier teams, defining processes, and reviewing human evaluation datasets.
  • Leverage product insights and business requirements to develop and drive program and product operational strategy in collaboration with Service Delivery Managers.
  • Identify program risks, develop and execute mitigation plans, and communicate rationale and updates clearly.
