Job Description

Redhorse Corporation seeks a Scrum Master to support the Chief Digital Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) in the DoD's integrated biosurveillance (IB) program. This role involves documenting requirements, synthesizing feature requests, recommending alternative approaches, and facilitating engineering efforts. The Scrum Master will collaborate with CDAO members and DoD colleagues, leveraging Advana's data, analytics, AI, and automation capabilities within multi-intelligence and multi-domain systems. Responsibilities include documenting requirements and specifications, reviewing documentation from other teams and vendors, and proactively engaging with colleagues. The position requires expertise in Agile methodologies and strong communication skills.

Agile software development experience
Bachelor's degree + 7-10 years exp. or Master's + 5 years exp.
Strong communication skills
Top Secret/SCI clearance

Position Description

Redhorse is hiring for a Scrum Master to support the Chief Digital Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) contribution in the DoD’s integrated biosurvelliance (IB) program. IB is a cornerstone of biodefense, requiring intelligence collection, analytic capabilities, and information sharing. IB is the process of gathering, integrating, interpreting, and communicating essential information related to all-hazard threats (biological, chemical, nuclear terrorist attacks; extreme weather events; naturally occurring emerging infectious diseases) or disease activity affecting human, animal, or plant health to achieve early detection and warning, to contribute to overall situational awareness of the health aspects of an incident, and to enable better decision-making at all levels. This position is part of a team that will leverage Advana’s data, analytics, AI, and automation capabilities in collaboration with ongoing efforts supported by multi-intelligence and multi-domain systems across different organizations.

Job Responsibilities

Documents requirements and specifications and reviews documentation provided by other teams and vendors.
Synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.

Required Experience/Education

Bachelor’s degree plus 7-10 years’ experience, or a Master’s Degree plus 5 years of experience.
Provide subject matter expertise to support agile development using methodologies based on iterative development, requirements and solutions.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
Strong communications skills: you will be required to proactively engage fellow CDAO members and DoD cross-organizational colleagues both inside and outside of your team.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
