The main goal of this project is to integrate cloud-based applications into the enterprise cloud infrastructure of a leading U.S.-based healthcare company. This large-scale transformation involves migrating diverse applications into a standardized, enterprise-ready cloud architecture in GCP, including re-platforming, implementing necessary remediations, and addressing security vulnerabilities.
CI/CD Adaptation for Cloud: Modify CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to incorporate cloud-specific build, deploy, and test workflows.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement Terraform modules to provision cloud resources and manage configurations required for application migration.
Cloud Integration: Ensure seamless integration with GCP services like GKE, Cloud Run, Networking, IAM, Secret Manager, and Cloud SQL during the migration.
Monitoring and Observability: Adapt existing monitoring solutions or implement tools like Grafana Stack, Splunk, or ELK to monitor applications in the cloud.
Must have
5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering roles.
3+ years of production experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for developing reusable, modular infrastructure code.
Hands-on experience managing and deploying applications on Kubernetes clusters.
Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, specifically using GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with Java Spring build/deploy processes using Maven and Gradle.
Experience managing Node.js projects, including npm workflows for builds and deployments.
Good scripting and coding skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automating infrastructure tasks.
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
