Role Overview 

We are seeking a Senior Digital Fashion Designer with strong commercial acumen to create compelling and trend-driven virtual fashion for Avakin Life. You will blend creativity with AI-driven tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that designs resonate with our global player base while driving revenue through in-app purchases (IAP). You will also work closely with experience designers and artists to craft immersive metaverse experiences, ensuring that fashion content aligns seamlessly with event concepts and enhances player engagement. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Fashion Design: Conceptualise and design a wide range of virtual fashion items, including clothing, accessories, and footwear, that align with player preferences and market trends. 

• AI Integration: Utilise and refine AI-powered tools to enhance fashion design workflows, including trend analysis, pattern generation, and customisation. 

• Trend Analysis & Monetisation: Stay ahead of global fashion trends and incorporate them into designs, leveraging internal data and insights to optimise sales performance. 

• 3D & 2D Development: Create detailed 2D sketches and 3D prototypes using software such as Marvelous Designer, Clo3D, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. 

• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with character artists, developers, and content teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into the game. Mentor junior designers in digital fashion best practices and AI-enhanced workflows. 

• Immersive Experience Development: Collaborate with experience designers and artists to develop engaging metaverse events, ensuring fashion content aligns with the thematic vision and enhances overall player experience. 

• Quality Assurance & Player Engagement: Ensure all fashion items meet high visual and technical standards. Gather and analyse player feedback to continuously improve virtual fashion offerings. 

• Marketing & Brand Collaboration: Support marketing and social teams in defining fashion campaigns, promotions, and social media strategies to maximise player engagement. 

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in fashion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital fashion and commercial success. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Marvelous Designer, Clo3D, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. Experience with AI tools in fashion design is a plus. 

• Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Ability to use data-driven insights to create designs that resonate with our audience and improve ROI on virtual fashion items. 

• Collaboration & Leadership: Strong communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teamsand mentoring junior designers. 

• Passion for Digital Fashion & Innovation: A deep understanding of fashion trends, metaverse markets, and virtual fashion evolution. 

Desirable Skills 

• Knowledge of PBR texturing and garment construction principles. 

• Experience with digital marketing, social media, and influencer campaigns in the fashion industry. 

• Understanding of online fashion communities and engagement strategies.
