BeReal seeks a talented Senior iOS Engineer to enhance the iOS app experience for millions of users. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable iOS features; collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, product, data); analyzing user needs and feedback; ensuring a high-quality user experience; assessing technical, user, and business impact; upholding best practices in code quality; and innovating the iOS tech stack (Swift, SwiftUI). The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and contribute to a rapidly growing social media platform.

Role
We are looking for a talented Senior iOS Engineer to join our team, where you will focus on improving the iOS app experience for millions of users.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable iOS features in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, data analysts) to build and improve new features.
- Analyzing user needs and feedback to drive feature development and iteration.
- Ensuring a seamless, high-quality user experience through thoughtful technical solutions.
- Assessing the technical, user, and business impact of the features you ship.
- Contributing to and upholding best practices in code quality, design, and development processes.
- Continuously innovating and improving the iOS tech stack (Swift, SwiftUI).

- iOS: Swift, Combine, SwiftUI, SPM, Swift Concurrency, MVVM
- Ops: Github.
- Android: Kotlin, Compose, Coroutines, Room, gRPC.
- Backend: Go, Node.js (NestJS, Nx, Typescript).
- Database: Spanner, PostgreSQL, Redis.
- Infrastructure: GCP, GKE, Firebase.
- Data: Amplitude, Tableau.
