Job Description

DXC Luxoft is seeking a Senior Murex FO professional to join their team. The role involves being part of an embedment team and learning the Murex application. Responsibilities include resolving daily FO issues, validating pricing and valuation of financial products, liaising with technical teams, developing business requirements, managing yield curve and product validation, managing project tasks, contributing to resolving P&L, Market Data, and booking issues, analyzing solutions, and staying updated on market regulations. The candidate will also perform testing and participate in release cycles.

Must have:

Strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, CRD
Equity derivatives knowledge, including portfolio swaps and bond swaps
Product implementation experience
Strong understanding of P&L components
Strong understanding and experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong presentation skills
Strong relationship building skills
Experience supporting FO users and resolving issues
5+ years of Murex experience with FO functionalities
Experience in financial markets
Strong personality, logical and analytical skills
Detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization skills

Good to have:

We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Responsibilities

Part of an embedment team, candidates will learn Murex application while performing the following responsibilities:

Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing

Validate pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest (including sensitivities and VaR)

Liaise with the technical team(s) -

when needed -

to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements

Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along

Yield Curve management and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation

Products (IRD, CRD, EQD) management and validation

Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables

Contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues

Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables

Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally

Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

Skills

Must have

Very Strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, CRD

Equity derivatives knowledge. Few key instruments: Portfolio Swaps, Bond Swaps (knowledge will be a huge plus!)

-Product implementation experience

Very Strong understanding of the P&L concept overall and its components

Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle

Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong presentation skills

Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally

Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues

Must:

5+ years experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module

experience in financial markets

Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills

Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter

Possess good verbal and written communication skills

Must have strong organization skills

Nice to have

Good understanding of Market Risk Management (including VaR, stress-tests, back-testing)
