Working in a talented cross-functional team, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of new and exciting software for our game teams and players.
We’re currently looking for a Senior Release Manager to join the Shared Tech Game Production team. You will bring an excellent track record of setting and executing quality and release processes, liaising and supporting software development teams, as well as developing and managing release practices to ensure the successful delivery of multiple projects.
You will collaborate with the Shared Tech, Game Production Engineering, Product team and multiple Shared tech and game teams, to ensure Shared Tech and Game releases are timely and safe. You’ll champion our values and lead by example with your mindset of collaboration, rapid iteration and continuous improvement.
Accountable for Integrated Release strategy in alignment with the Game Production’s engineering long term vision
Lead and coordinate the release activities including the execution of the deployment plans including release go/no go decisions.
Maintain and adapt the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners, aligning release windows and cycles across a portfolio of teams and products.
Drive coordination for key release commitment and changes including requirement, scope and schedule. Collaboration with QA teams
Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
Deliver and maintain critical and customer centric KPI/SLAs, measuring and monitoring progress to ensure safe releases. Leverage critical data and metrics with stakeholders for continuous improvement.
Continually work towards making improvements in the release processes, driving Release verification and collaborating with Quality Assistance across teams.
Have contributed to the development, release and/or service operations of at least one mobile game or live mobile digital product
Managed releases of multiple products / services towards multiple stakeholders and a rapid moving environment
Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
Able to work in and foster a team culture of trust and respect, where open feedback, accountability, and courage to fail fast and learn are the norm
Ability to see a bigger picture and passion to remove roadblocks in a complex system
Demonstrated analytical and data-informed decision making
Hands-on experience with CD/CI tools, Jenkins, github, …
Hands on experience with project tracking tools (eg. Jira)
Strong organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in other game development crafts such as art, game design, engineering, QA/QC
Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
